Abstract: Acne scars develop following severe episodes of acne, usually during adolescence. Acne scars can be listed under two main groups: atrophic and hypertrophic. Atrophic scarring is further divided based on morphologic criteria into ice pick’, boxcar’ and rolling’ scars. With the emergence of fractional lasers, depressed acne scars can now be treated effectively. Aims and objective: The study intends to evaluate the role of fractional CO2 laser resurfacing in treatment of acne scars in Indian patients (Skin type IV – V) and objectives were to assess the efficacy and side effects of fractional CO2 laser resurfacing in treatment of acne scars in Indian patients (Skin type IV – V)
