Abstract: Forty-two pepper line seeds obtained from the surveillance locations with the desirable characteristic of high yield were screened for resistance to virus diseases under field conditions. The seedlings were prepared in an insect-tight screen house at National Horticultural Research Institute Ibadan (NIHORT) and the pepper lines were transplanted in February 2017 and repeated in February 2018. The experiment was laid out in Randomised Complete Block Design (RCBD) with three replicates.
