Abstract: Nowadays vehicles are been used hugely but protection for those vehicles are not been taking care of. In this advanced technology security of the vehicle are most important. Vehicles are been an important part of a human’s life at least for this reason security is very important for vehicles. Biometrics is one of the methods which is been usedhugely, fingerprint identification is a very common method in human identification. If an owner needs to start thevehicle he is required to keep his finger on the fingerprint sensor. By comparing it to the fingerprint that is already saved in the database, the system will determine if it is authenticated or not, if only the fingerprint matches, the owner is allowed to ride on it; if not, an alarm message is sent to the owner. Additionally, the owner has the abilityto add new users to the database and delete it at any time. In this paper, we are mainly focusing on security purposes that is by using fingerprint recognition to start the vehicle.
