Abstract: Fused deposition modeling (FDM) and continuous fiber fabrication (CFF) are methods of 3D printing technology. The Markforged Mark Two 3D printer is a 3D printer that utilizes both methods. In this study, the material used is a polymer matrix composite material, namely Onyx-Carbon Fiber Reinforced. The use of this material as a gripper, soft jaw, thread, jix and fixture, and bracket. However, the use of this material is still not optimal or overwhelming, because there is no physical characterization of this material. Therefore, this study is to obtain a characterization of Oyx-Carbon Fiber Reinforced material, especially tensile strength which will then be analyzed using the Taguchi Method. This research uses experimental method by varying several parameters.
