Abstract: This was conducted randomly to investigate perceived problems on the Library Information Resources for research among graduate students in higher education institutions of Southern Mindanao, Philippines and its contribution to academic library profiling. There were four research questions and three hypotheses used with 1000 copies of questionnaires administered to the respondents spotted in and out of school premises through face to face method. A simple random and stratified sampling procedure was used due to large number of the population. The frequency counts, simple percentages, mean, standard deviation and Pearson product moment correlation were used for the statistical analysis
