Abstract: This study offers insights in relation to the fastmoving consumer goods product of origin context, and it describes some boundary conditions. Due to the interplay between resources, main recipients and home rivalry it is hereby proposed that a firm producing products of origin is not necessarily resource dependent; thereby sideling the robust relationship of farmers producing product of origin vis-à-vis the final producers. This study proposes that in the case of firms producing products of origin, the interaction of raw material, production and the final product per se will throw the farmers and final producers alike into the vortex of inconsistencies in addition to the international market environment may cause extra alterations.
