Abstract: Background: Medication adherence is an important factor in type II diabetic patients to prevent further progression of the disease. Severity of disease and poor adherence to diabetic medication can be minimized by effective patient counseling. Objective: To evaluate the impact of patient counseling on medication adherence in type II diabetes mellitus patients using medication adherence questionnaire.
