Abstract: The shutdown was established as the COVID-19 pandemic developed as the primary preventive strategy to slow the virus's spread around the planet. India also had one of the most severe nationwide lockdowns, which primarily impacted workers in the unorganized sector. This study intends to investigate how the COVID-19 and lockdown have affected street sellers' ability to make a living in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
