Abstract: The current study looks at a two-layered Casson model of blood flow inside an asymmetrically stenosed artery with velocity slip at the interface. The model consists of a central layer of red blood cells suspended in a Casson fluid, a middle layer of Newtonian plasma, and a peripheral layer of Newtonian plasma. Analytical equations foraxial velocity, flow rate, wall shear stress, apparent viscosity, and pressure gradient are obtained and their variations with different parameters are illustrated in figures and their variations of flow variables has been discussed in this article. In addition, the physiological consequences of this theoretical modeling for blood flow circumstances are briefly examined.

Keywords: Stenosed artery, shear stress, Casson fluid, resistance to flow, wall shear stress.
