Abstract: The purpose of the study was to examine the association between family and work related stress and social support available to factory workers and to identify the roles of nurses in assisting workers cope with stress. Two hundred and thirty-eight (238) factory workers in a water factory, a bread and confectionery factory and a brewing industry in Osun State and 15 nurses providing services to the workers participated in the questionnaire survey. Majority of the factory workers (69.3%) experienced low level of family related stress and received high level of family social support. While 64.3% experienced moderate level of work related stress, 59.7% reported moderate level of workplace social support
