Abstract: Purpose ─ This study aims to examine the role of work engagement in mediating the influence of competence and work environment on performance. Design/methodology/approach ─ The sample in this study was determined using a census study population technique, so that 53 observations were obtained from 4 villages in Situbondo District. The analysis technique used in this study is path analysis using SPSS 25.
