Abstract: Background: Metabolic syndrome (MS) is one of the emerging health problem and is rising with the adoption of modern life style. This will affect on morbidity and mortality of the people. Objectives To assess the MS prevalence among the rural adult population. To find out the associated predictors of MS among rural adults.
