Abstract: The paper explores effectiveness of academic leadership in the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, focusing on the challenges associated with achieving a balance between quality and quantity in education. It delves into the specific qualities and attributes necessary for the academic leaders to navigate and overcome these challenges successfully, ensuring a smooth and effective implementation of NEP 2020.The challenges discussed include adapting to new pedagogical approaches, aligning infrastructure with policy goals, addressing resource constraints, and managing the transition from traditional to more progressive educational paradigms.
