Abstract: The tendency of urban communities to choose destinations for relaxation, having fun, resting and so on, relay on the concept of "back to nature" and often the accommodations provided are homestays, especially in rural tourist destinations. The visitor will visit rural tourism if the tourism attractions in the village are interesting and unique, the distance is easy to reach, the village facilities or the carrying capacity of tourism is adequate, the village has a belief system and culture, and the availability of ideal infrastructure. Therefore this research is looking at the urban communities perspective as an Observer, their Motives and Interest in staying at Homestay.
