Abstract: The prevalence of diabetes in developing countries is relatively high and is expected to increase in the future due to lifestyle changes and unhealthy diets consumed. The objective of this study was to identify the extent of knowledge, attitude and practice carried out by diabetic patients attending Keruguya hospital. The cross-sectional study comprised a total of 80 type 2 diabetic patients recruited using a random sampling technique. A pre-tested semi-structured questionnaire was used to collect respondents’ information on knowledge, attitude, and practice. The findings show that 50% of participants knew the symptoms of diabetes
