An Investigation into Vocabulary Learning Strategies Used by Moroccan EFL High Achievers: IBN Roumi High School as a Case Study

Abstract: This research study investigated vocabulary learning strategies (VLS) used by 42 EFL high school students who are considered as high achievers at Ibn Roumi high schools in Meknes. The aim was to find out the most frequently used strategies among these high achievers. A questionnaire about vocabulary learning strategies was administered to the participants. The results uncovered ten frequently used VLS among these high achievers.
