Three dimensional (3D) printing technologies are advanced manufacturing technologies based on computer-aided design digital modelsto create personalized 3D objects automatically. In periodontology various applications of this technology have been reported in including 3D-printed scaffold for socket preservation, periodontal repair and regeneration, and sinus and bone augmentation, peri-implant maintenance, and implant education. This article reviews briefly about 3D printing and its applications in periodontics and implantology
